The Japan 2 beat its rival 25-23, 21-18 and 15-13, winning the first prize with cash award of USD 20,000.

Earlier in the semi-final, another Japanese pair, Suzuki/Sakaguchi also won their Israeli competitor Starikov/Chorin 2-1 and bagged the bronze prize.

The four-day competition, belonging to the FIVB’s World Tour, drew 18 teams from 12 countries including Canada, the Czech Republic, Japan, Denmark and Israel.
