The event was held to honor those who work in the press sector and spread public sporting spirit on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2023).

According to Head of the tournament’s organizing panel Le Bao Trung, 500 participants came from more than 40 press and media agencies in Hanoi and its vicinity. This event was to honor the press and spread sporting spirit to reporters in particular and the public in general, thus encouraging them to have a healthy lifestyle.

Despite prolonged heavy rain, participating athletes enthusiastically and seriously attend the tournament.

In this second edition, athletes competed in 5km, 10km, and 21,6km events. Despite prolonged heavy rain, they took part in the tournament with great enthusiasm and efforts.

Reportedly, after the tournament, the organizing panel will donate part of the event’s proceed and accompany businesses and benefactors to build schools and present computers to students in mountainous areas.

Since its birth in 2003, ICT Press Club has annually organized voting for ten outstanding ICT events, attracting the attention of the IT business community as well as readers nationwide.

The club has also organized seminars on hot issues related to the ICT sector in Vietnam, drawing the attention of management agencies, experts, businesses, and the press. These events’ outcomes have contributed to the development of the ICT sector of Vietnam.
