Cambodia all set for SEA Games 32 opening ceremony
Cambodia will welcome thousands of athletes from across the region coming to participate to the 32nd SEA Games at Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh on May 5, the first time the country plays host.
According to Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodia SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC), the opening and closing ceremonies of the 32nd SEA Games will be carried out at "Olympic level."

The athletes from 11 regional nations will parade their flags on the opening night at Phnom Penh’s 60,000-seater Morodok Techo National Stadium.
"Welcome Cambodia," "This is our time" and "Cambodia is our home” composed by the Union of Youth Federation of Cambodia (UYFC) will be staged on the opening night. In addition to the songs, the celebration will also see performances of band MCT125 of the Royal Gendarmerie of Cambodia, an Asia martial arts duel between Cambodian Kun Bokator fighters and Chinese Shaolin.
In particular, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen will announce the opening of the 32nd SEA Games and light the torch of the Games. Besides, fireworks display around Morodok Techo Stadium will also be performed.
