Violinist Bui Cong Duy to delight HCM City theatre-goers

The 35-minute concerto for violin and orchestra in D major, Op. 35., by Russian musician P.I.Tchaikovsky, one of the world’s 25 most famous violin concertos, is to be played by violinist Bui Cong Duy and the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet and Symphony Orchestra (HBSO).
The concert is directed by Eminent Artist Tran Vuong Thanh.
Apart from the well-known concerto, the orchestra will perform the Carnival overture by Antonin Dvorak. The second part of the concert is to be covered with an excerpt of a grand ballet entitled “Ten cuop bien” (Corsair) shown by HBSO.
The concert is hoped to satisfy theatre-goers in Ho Chi Minh City.
