Vietnamese Cultural Center to be opened in Berlin

The first Vietnamese Cultural Center of Overseas Vietnamese will be opened on October 10^th, the Liberation Day of Hanoi Capital, in Berlin, Germany.

Apart from its main functions of updating information about Vietnam, gathering overseas Vietnamese in Germany and introducing typical Vietnamese cultural products such as publications, movies, music and both tangible and intangible cultural items to Germans, the center will regularly hold traditional arts and music performances and Vietnamese kitchen festivals on national anniversaries and events.

The birth of the center, on one hand, serves as a useful playground for Vietnamese nationals in Germany, and on the other hand helps Germans learn more about Vietnamese culture, people and country, promoting friendship between the 2 nations.
