A Vietnamese team named Q9.Gaming won the second prize in an E-sport contest in the Republic of Korea (RoK) held from November 12-17.
The Vietnamese team lost in the final match against a team from the host country and earned second prize, and nearly $3,000. Previously, the Vietnamese team had defeated Amotel team from Thailand.
The Sudden Attack game contest was held at the Kintex Sports Palace in Ilsan City, the RoK, attracting gamers from Thailand, the RoK and Vietnam.
Q.9 Gaming (HCM City) is a group of gamers who are trying to become professional E-sport players. Recently the group won second prize in Counter Strike at the World Cyber Games Vietnam 2008 (southern region) and was the champion of the Sudden Attack World Championship (Vietnamese qualifying round).
