Vietnam wins a gold at Asia-Pacific arts festival
PANO - Nguyen The Viet, a representative of Vietnam at the Asia-Pacific Arts Festival, has brought home a gold cup.
His tenor voice and romantic tone while performing the song “You raise me up” conquered the jury's hearts. As a result, he was presented with a gold in vocal music.

Nguyen The Viet, born in 1996, is a sophomore of Vocal Music Faculty of the Vietnam National Academy of Music. He loves pop and wants to become a music producer.
The final of the Asia-Pacific Arts Festival took place on January 28 in Malaysia. The festival drew the participation of nearly 200 contestants from various nations in the Asia-Pacific region. Contestants competed in different categories, including vocal music and musical instruments.
