At the event, Vietnamese traditional martial art and lion-dance performances were staged by Algerian martial artists from the Son Long Quyen Thuat Federation in Algiers to the welcome of guests and visitors.

Participants had a chance to enjoy Vietnam’s traditional food for free such as fried spring rolls, pho, banh cuon (steamed rice rolls), southern-style beef noodle as well as see cooking demonstrations at the event.
Vietnam’s traditional handcrafts were also on display.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Pham Quoc Tru said as a guest of honor at the event, Vietnam will put on stage several traditional long dresses and costumes by Vietnamese ethnic minorities on a fashion show during the Gala Dinner scheduled for March 22 evening.
The Vietnamese embassy wants to introduce images of Vietnam’s country, its culture and people to international friends in order to popularize its tourism, he said.
During the event, outstanding European, African, American, Arabian businesses operating in Algeria will be also honored.
The bazaar attracted representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Palestine and Azerbaijan, among others.
