Jointly held by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Thua Thien Hue provincial People’s Committee, the program will feature a series of activities, including a photo exhibition, a fair, a seminar, and a Vietnam-Laos artistic exchange.
The exhibition will introduce 200 photos, which are divided into four themes, namely the 61-year history of the Vietnam-Laos special friendship, Vietnam and Laos of the development path, outstanding achievements in Vietnam-Laos cooperation in information and communications, and Thua Thien Hue with the national development.
The fair will gather 50 booths of press agencies, information and communications businesses, and businesses operating in tourism and trade of Vietnam and Laos.
At the seminar, themed “Outlook for cooperation in journalism and communications between Vietnam and Laos: Challenges and solutions,” participants will exchange views on digital transformation trend in journalism and communications and its role in promoting trade and investment between the two countries.
In addition, the program will also feature cultural and artistic exchanges between the Vietnamese and Lao people, especially between ethnic minority groups in Vietnam’s Thua Thien Hue and Laos’ Salavan and Sekong province and between Vietnamese students and their Lao peers who are living and studying in Hue.
