An exhibition of 17 possible design models for the new parliament house in Hanoi are on display for public view and feedback in the capital.

The 17 proposed designs were short-listed by a judge’s panel made up of five Vietnamese and five foreign experts.

Five finalists have already been selected, but the results have yet to be released.

Later this month, the Ministry of Construction will submit the five finalist designs, as well as notes on which models the public preferred, to the Prime Minister’s office for the final decision.

Thousands have already attended the exhibition, which was organized by the ministry and will run until September 15.

The new parliament house will be located in the capital city’s Ba Dinh Hall complex.
