Vietnam Circus Federation expands partnership to perform overseas

At the event, many enterprises, tourist companies, and international organizations agreed to partner with the federation in staging, popularizing and performing circus shows to meet demands of the public, to organize overseas tours and participate in international circus festivals in Russia, Japan, Germany, China, and others.

The Vietnam Circus Federation’s leaders hold a meeting with the press and partners to introduce its renovation and creation activities.

In his speech, Director of the federation People’s Artist Tong Toan Thang informed that this year has many big events, such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the 135th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, and the 80th National Day. In addition, it is also the year that the federation launches innovative programs towards its founding anniversary slated for next year.

Units, companies, and artists show support to the innovative development of Vietnamese circus art.

According to the official, apart from programs to celebrate big events of the country, the federation also coordinates with the Vietnam Reformed Theater and the Vietnam Classical Drama Theater to produce shows with combination of circus and folk music genres.

Director Thang also noted the federation’s new IONAH performing art center with square-shaped stage debuted in early this year, is expected to better serve both domestic and international visitors.
