Vietnam - China Friendship Singing Contest 2019 concludes
PANO – The final round of the Vietnam - China Friendship Singing Contest 2019, co-held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theatre in collaboration with China’s Guangxi Radio and Television, successfully concluded in Hanoi on December 28.

Launched annually since 2000, the competition is expected to contribute to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and China. It also aims to discover musical talents and promote solidarity and cultural exchange through music.
The contestants have performed songs about the beauty of Vietnam and China as well as the long-standing friendship between the two countries. They were required to sing one Vietnamese and one Chinese song.
Previously, the qualifying rounds were held alternatively in China and Vietnam to select five representatives from each country for the final round in Vietnam.
