The Lo Lo ethnic people are divided into two groups: the Lo Lo Den, mainly residing in Lung Cu commune (Dong Van district), and the Lo Lo Hoa, found in various communes of Meo Vac district and some parts of Dong Van district. Regardless of the group, women’s traditional clothing radiates the spirit and identity of the Lo Lo people, who have lived in the rocky highlands for centuries.

Creating these traditional garments is a meticulous process, from cutting and sewing to designing patterns. Every detail on the fabric is imbued with traditional beliefs, folklore, and cultural values of the Lo Lo people. From a young age, Lo Lo girls are taught by their mothers to embroider, sew, and piece together colorful fabrics. By adulthood, they can make their own beautiful clothing, especially bridal attire, which serves as an important measure of a Lo Lo woman's skill and creativity.

Traditional attire is an integral part of the Lo Lo people's daily and spiritual life. Despite the changes brought by time and integration with the outside world, these garments remain a source of pride for the Lo Lo community in Dong Van Karst Plateau.
