Various activities to mark International Francophonie Day
PANO – A series of activities will be held on the occasion of the International Francophonie Day (IFD) (March 20), as revealed at a press conference on March 9 in Hanoi by Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam Jehanne Roccas, Chairman of the Group of Francophone Embassies, Delegations and Institutions (GADIF).

This year’s event, under the themed "I love and I share" (J’aime, je partage), aims to promote activities for and by young people via social network.
The major event will be organized on March 17 in Hanoi by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and GADIF. Meanwhile, a number of activities will take place across the country, including contests, music shows, and exhibitions.
Especially, the 10th Francophone Film festival with famous films such as Mekong Stories (Vietnam, France, Germany, Netherlands), À peine j’ouvre les yeux (Tunisia) will be screened in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, and Vinh City.
