Twenty international art troupes join eleventh Hue Festival
PANO – The Thua Thien - Hue Provincial People's Committee held a press briefing in Hanoi on December 17 to introduce the 11th Hue Festival.
Themed “Cultural heritage with integration and development”, the program will take place from April 1 to 6, 2020 in Hue city.
In the past, the Hue Festival affirmed its position in the community of professional festivals in the world, and promoted the cultural identities of Hue in particular and Vietnamese people in general, while gathering many unique art programs from different cultures around the world.
This year’s program will bring special artistic performances, featuring unique cultures from across Vietnam and from other countries in the world. In addition, this is also an opportunity to introduce the Central city of Hue – an attractive destination in Vietnam - to all people at home and abroad.
The festival will also feature many interesting activities, including carnivals, ao dai (Viet Nam’s traditional dress) shows, food fairs, and art performances.
The festival will gather 20 international art troupes from the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, the Philippines, France, and Russia along with national art troupes from Ha Noi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.
