This year, the 22nd edition of the festival featured the participation of 20 fighting buffaloes aged from 8 to 11 years, owned by locals from various hamlets in Hai Luu commune.

In order to acquire the desired buffaloes, owners had to purchase them from different regions across the country, even searching from foreign countries such as Cambodia and Myanmar. These buffaloes were then nurtured and trained using special techniques.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some images of the festival.
