PANO – A festival of Khen (a popular musical instrument of the H’Mong ethnic minority group in Vietnam) will take place in Dong Van District, Ha Giang Province on August 21st and 22nd to celebrate the 120th founding anniversary of Ha Giang Province.
According to the organisers, the festival, part of Tourism and Culture week of “The Impression of Dong Van Stone Plateau”, will be a good opportunity for the Province to popularise the tourism destinations in their Province.
As planned, there will be around 300 artisans and artists, to perform at the festival.
The focus of the festival is its opening ceremony, themed “Khen dances on the Dong Va Plateau” and the Khen performing competition.
