Exhibits at the event

Especially, two witnesses Nguyen Xuan Thuan and Le Xuan Tuong, both joining the military in 1971 and fighting in Quang Tri Theater in 1972, took participants back to fierce but glorious days of the nation during the 81 days and nights protecting Quang Tri ancient citadel and 12 days and nights of Hanoi fighting against B-52 bombers. These battles became symbols of bravery, resilience, aspiration for peace and independence.

As part of the program, there was an exhibition displaying documents and objects featuring Hanoi people’s resilience, perseverance and enduring faith in the resistance war against the French colonialists and the U.S. imperialists in the 1945-1975 period, and great feats-of-arms, contributing to the entire victory of the nation.

Also at the event, many meaningful objects were presented to the organizer. These donations, including military equipment, supplies, letters, photos, administrative documents, diaries, and war memorabilia, would help today and future generations more deeply understand the nation’s losses, sacrifices, and combat spirit.
