The program is organized under the direction of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Mass Mobilization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the Hanoi People’s Committee, while the Military Broadcasting Center is in charge of implementing the program.

Scheduled to take place at 8:10p.m. on April 22 at the Hanoi-based My Dinh National Stadium, the program will be broadcast live on the QPVN channel.
Senior Colonel Pham Van Tu, Director of the Military Broadcasting Center and General Director of the program, underscored that the program is considered as “a journey into the past, retelling the solemn promises of national reunification written in blood, tears, and resilience by millions of Vietnamese people.” He noted that the program will combine political commentary with artistic content, using historical documentaries, music, and advanced technology to convey its message.
“The program pays tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national independence. It affirms our nation’s unwavering resolve for national reunification and today we must continue that promise with even greater determination to safeguard national solidarity and take Vietnam into a new era,” added Senior Colonel Tu.
According to Nguyen Trung Dung, CEO of Netmedia, which is responsible for stage design, the program will feature a large-scale, immersive stage measuring 2,700 square meters, designed in two asymmetrical sections representing the North and the South. The centerpiece is a symbolic Hien Luong bridge crossing the Ben Hai River.
“We hope to convey the message of a grand national reunion - the North and the South united as one,” said Dung.
The program will feature more than 800 male and female artists from military and civilian art troupes, including the Military Music Song and Dance Theater, the Military Cheo (Vietnamese Popular Opera) Theater, and the Military Drama Theater.
