Spring Festival kicked off in Can Tho
PANO – A spring festival was opened at the Can Tho city’s Museum on January 12th, featuring activities of traditional trade villages and typical culture and cuisine of four ethnic groups, namely the Kinh, Hoa (Overseas Chinese), Khmer and Cham.
According to representative of the museum, the program aims to help visitors have an insight into the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday in the province, known as a big orchard area; enjoy to the festive atmosphere; and experience traditional activities with local artisans.
The festival will run till February 1st (the fifth day of the first lunar month of the year of the Rooster).
