Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended this televised program, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Its three carefully-staged parts included various songs, dances, and lively scenes featuring President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career and the people’s great love for him.

The first part, entitled “Uncle Ho goes to find ways to save the country,” featured the first period of Uncle Ho’s revolutionary career, during which he travelled various countries worldwide to seek ways to free the nation from foreign invaders.

Meanwhile, the second part, “Return,” reappeared during the period when President Ho Chi Minh returned to the homeland, leading the Vietnam Revolution to surmount difficulties and challenges to seize power, which resulted in the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (present the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Attentively, in the third part of the program, named “Uncle Ho-Our belief in victory,” art items praised President Ho Chi Minh and emphasized the deep sentiments that Vietnamese people and international friends have for him.

A number of well-known People’s artists, eminent artists and singers participated in this special program, which was seen as a token of gratitude by participating artists and others involved to President Ho Chi Minh, the old father of the nation.
