On the campus of the relic site and in other communes of Loc Ninh district, the organizers held interesting activities, such as a meeting with businesses and delegates of the “Soldiers’ spring” program, an incense offering to fallen troops, a tree-planting event, an inauguration ceremony of five outdoor exercise projects, a handover ceremony of three comradeship houses, and opening of “Tet for troops and people” stalls, “Zero VND market – Spreading Love.”

According to Political Commissar of Military Region 7 Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, the “Soldiers’ spring” program had the spirit of sharing, in which no one was left behind and the life of troops, people, policy beneficiaries in remote, mountainous areas, on islands was paid due attention, especially during the approaching traditional lunar New Year (Tet) of the nation.

Apart from Loc Ninh, the “Soldiers’ spring” program was also held in other localities in Military Region 7 in this lunar New Year.

At the event, the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Military Region 7 presented 2,400 gifts to policy beneficiary families, national contributors, and poor households in the region. They also assigned units to cooperate with localities in the stationed areas to organize “Tet for troops and people” programs.
