Sen Village Festival 2022 kicked off in Nghe An
PANO - The Nghe An provincial People’s Committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on May 17, held the opening ceremony of the Sen (Lotus) Village Festival and the National Classical Drama and Folk Opera Festival 2022 in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

The event is part of the activities to mark the 132nd birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2022).
This year, the Sen Village Festival takes place from May 14 to 28 in Nam Dan district (Nghe An) and Vinh city.
The festival consists of various activities, including the incense and flower offering ceremony, the procession of Uncle Ho’s portrait at Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, the National Tuong (Classical Drama) and Folk Opera Festival, exhibitions on Uncle Ho, cultural and sports activities, folk games, to name but a few.
The event is followed by an art program titled “Uncle Ho - Our confidence in victory” (Nguoi la niem tin tat thang).
