At the two-day event, participating domestic and international scientists focused on clarifying the typical values of pottery-making techniques of the Cham people.

The seminar also made public studies on the relationship between pottery of the Cham people and other pottery-making centers in Vietnam and Asian countries with a focus on similarities and differences in techniques, customs and methods of passing down the pottery-making techniques from generation to generation.

The studies also highlighted the role and position of the Cham people’s pottery products in maritime trading networks and in the context of economic and cultural exchanges among countries.
