Through this program, the organizing committee aims to introduce ceremonies, festivals,  customs and practices  of ethnic minority people, contributing to preserving and promoting their traditional cultural values, as well as fostering cultural exchange, solidarity, and mutual support for development.

Activities of ethnic groups at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

The event will see the participation of over 100 individuals from 16 ethnic minority groups including the Nung, Tay, Dao, H'mong, Muong, Lao, Thai, among others. The highlight of the event is the re-enactment of the cultural space of ethnic minority groups in mountainous areas.

Also, the program will showcase the H'mong ethnic group's Khen dance from Xin Man district, Ha Giang province, demonstrate the black fabric embroidery and decoration of the Nung ethnic group. It will also introduce the beauty of the Dao ethnic costumes, among other displays.

Within the program, there will be various activities such as re-enactment of the Dao ethnic group's ritual of praying for a successful crop season, showcasing the colorful sticky rice cooking tradition, and the New Year food tray preparation. Additionally, there will be a re-enactment of the housewarming ceremony from the people of Son La province.
