The program, co-held by the VGCL, the Health Ministry, and the Vietnam Television (VTV), aims to highlight the great efforts of the entire Party, people, and military in the COVID-19 battle, especially the great contribution of the anti-pandemic front-line forces.

By depicting the severity of the pandemic, the hardships and sacrifices of the front-line forces, the program honors the sacrifices, initiatives, creativity, great determination of the forces on duty in the fight against COVID-19 to ensure the safety of the people.

Also, it affirms the care of government and local authorities at all levels, as well as the accompanying role of labor union organizations for enterprises in the COVID-19 combat.

The program, including three parts, is a combination of reports, video clips, and art performances.

As scheduled, the program will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel at 20:00 on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Within the framework of the press conference, the VGCL announced the results of the two contests on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Particularly, for the music composing contest entitled “Melodies on the Front-line,” the organizing panel awarded three second, six third, 12 consolation, and five special prizes. The outstanding works will be performed in the “Vietnam – Aspiration for Peace” program.

For the video-making contest “Unforgettable moments,” the organizers selected 16 individual prizes, including one first, two second, three third, and 10 consolation prizes, and five group prizes.
