PANO – 27 plays by 22 art troupes across the country will be performed in the National Reformed Opera (cai luong) Professional Stage Festival in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province between October 20th and November 3rd.
According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien, the plays focus on various aspects of modern life, such as praising revolutionary heroism, national renewal, and beauties and human cultures, as well as condemning social evils and people’s bad habits. Especially, some plays include subjects on responding to the “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign and implementing the Central Resolution 4.
The competition, held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Dong Nai People’s Committee, aims to promote the traditional reformed opera and experiences between directors and artists.
Each day, two plays, with free admission, will be staged.
At the end of the event, the organizing panel presents its prizes to outstanding plays.
