A photo display at the exhibition
Photographer Pham Manh Hung used to be a miner who escaped death in a mine collapse in 1979. Having recovered from injury, Hung returned to the mine, but this time not as a miner but as a photographer whose goal was to reflect the sometimes perilous lives of the miners. The 81 photos in the exhibition aim to introduce to the public a multi-faceted view of workers in the mines ranging from everyday conditions to the common risks and dangers they were exposed to frequently.

The exhibition will close on November 14.
