Photo exhibition marks VPA’s 76th founding anniversary
PANO – An exhibition, entitled “the Heroic Vietnam People’s Army – a pride of the nation,” was held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 12, in celebration of the 76th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 31st anniversary of the All-People Defense Festive Day (December 22).
The exhibition at Lam Son Park (District 1) showcases 90 photos featuring the establishment of the Information and Liberation Armed Team of Vietnam – the predecessor of the VPA, as well as the combat, construction and development of the VPA.

In addition, other photo exhibitions took place at Dong Khoi - Nguyen Du - Ly Tu Trong streets in District 1.
The fortnight exhibitions featured over 120 colored photos showing the strong will and bravery of the HCM City’s armed forces in regularity building, training activities, combat readiness and external defense activities, to name but a few.
Moreover, the exhibitions showcased the HCM City armed force’s comradeship, volunteer activities, and social welfare for the people, and sentiment to the national seas, islands and border areas.
