PANO – As many as 132 photos of Hanoi’s renovation and development from the Hanoi Art Photography Association’s 44th art photo contest are on display at an exhibition, opened in the city on October 8th in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Hanoi Capital liberation day.

The displayed photos highlight great achievements in politics, economy, culture, and society of the capital city over the past years, and reflect the beauty of Hanoians.
Launched in June with the theme “Hanoi’s renovation and development”, the contest attracted the participation of 153 photographers with 1,300 photos reflecting different aspects of Hanoi since the liberation day 60 years ago.
The organizers awarded one first, two second, three third and ten consolation prizes to outstanding works.
