During the event, 200 objects, documents, and photos were displayed in three categories, namely the establishment and development of the Vietnamese working class and Vietnam’s trade union organizations; the care of President Ho Chi Minh for the working class and trade union organizations; workers and trade union organizations learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style. The exhibition lasts till August 2020.

* The same day, the National Library of Vietnam opened an online book exhibition at http://nlv.gov.vn. The event features 500 books about the life, revolutionary career, thought, morality, and style of President Ho Chi Minh.
Additionally, the exhibition has introduced numerous documents about the sentiment and gratitude of the Vietnamese people and international friends for the late President.
* The Can Tho municipal Authorities held a ceremony on May 18 to commemorate the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.
At the event, the city’s leaders briefed delegates on local socio-economic development and military-defense task performance.
On the occasion, the municipal Party Committee presented Party membership badges to former leaders of the city and former commanders of Military Region 9.
* The Party Committees of Dak Lak and Bac Kan provinces organized seminars on May 18 to discuss the values of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style and to foster the “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples” movement among their people.
* The Ninh Binh provincial Authorities launched a conference on May 18 to review its 4 years of implementing Directive No.05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style. Accordingly, the province has gathered good models and valuable experience. It has also multiplied outstanding examples on various fields. Enterprises and agencies have donated VND 52 billion in total to support needy communes.
* The Ho Chi Minh municipal Department of Information and Communications in association with relevant agencies have held an exhibition themed “Ho Chi Minh: Life and career” on Nguyen Van Binh Book Street. The exhibition will last till May 22.
* The Bac Lieu provincial Youth Union Committee launched a ceremony to honor outstanding youths at Uncle Ho Memorial Site in Chau Thoi commune, Vinh Loi district on May 18.
The event was attended by over 200 youth union members in the province. Reportedly, the provincial Youth Union Committee has mobilized sponsors to give thousands of gifts, worth over VND 3 billion in total, to policy beneficiaries and needy households in the province. On this occasion, the provincial Youth Union Committee honored 20 outstanding youths in the “Learning and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings” movement.
