PANO – The Steering Board for the construction of the Vietnam Military History Museum met on Dec. 9 to review the results of preparing for the construction of the museum in 2013 and work out directions for 2014.
In 2013, the steering board completed the project to build the museum in a new location and mapped out plans to add, preserve and restore exhibits and to train human resources.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc, asked the board’s subordinate units to closely work with each other to make final preparations, such as architectural design, building of power station and unexploded ordnance clearance, for the construction of the museum according to the Defence Ministry’s approved plan.
