Whenever a new Rong house is built, the Gia Rai ethnic people usually hold a ritual ceremony to express gratitude to deities and pray for protection, peace, and prosperity for the village. Recently, in Op village, the People’s Committee of Pleiku ward, Gia Lai province, organized a reenactment of the new Rong house celebration ceremony of the Gia Rai ethnic people to honor and preserve the community’s unique cultural identity, while serving visitors during the National Tourism Year 2026.
