Nearly 1,000 artists compete at traditional musical instrument festival
PANO - The National Musical Instrument Solo and Chamber Performance Festival in 2017 was kick-started on April 15 evening at Thanh Hoa province’s Lam Son Theater by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
During the nine-day festival, some 1,000 artists from 34 art troupes nationwide will perform 34 programs with nearly 80 shows of between 40-50 minutes long each.

The organizing panel is going to award the best music composer whose work is best performed and the best conductor alongside other prizes.
The festival, held every three years, aims to honor, popularize, preserve and promote traditional music’s values.
