Music festival features Vietnam-EU relations
PANO - The European Music Festival 2017 will take place from November 17 to December 2 at the Youth Theater in Hanoi and at the Conservatory of Music in Ho Chi Minh City, as announced at a press conference on November 9 in Hanoi.
Vietnamese artist Tri Minh and Danish musician Nay Ruby to start the music event in Hanoi
The festival was co-organized by the EU mission to Vietnam, embassies of EU member states and various European cultural institutes in order to honor the richness and diversity of European culture.
This year’s festival will entertain Vietnamese audiences with concerts performed by virtuoso artists from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Poland and Sweden.
Speaking at the conference, Ambassador Bruno Angelet, Head of the EU mission, said that the festival aims to strengthen the relationship between the EU and Vietnam and continue to promoting the close relations and people-to-people exchanges in various fields, especially in culture.
Accordingly, the music event will start off on November 17 in Hanoi with a music project by Vietnamese artist Tri Minh and Danish musician Nay Ruby as well as the participation of other Vietnamese and Danish artists.
Meanwhile, Janice, a Swedish singer and musician will take the stage for the opening performance in Ho Chi Minh City on November 18.
