Many local people and visitors joined water procession, praying procession, palanquin procession, incense offering and releasing ceremony.

Besides, the festival was organized with various cultural activities such as a rice-cooking contest, stick-pushing games, a boat-race competition and so on. The highlights of the festival included the drum-beating specifically for the festival and art performances by the Quang Ninh troupe's artists.
