PANO - The Vietnamese Photographic Artists’ Association in collaboration with Dong Thap provincial Literature and Arts Association has held a closing and awarding ceremony of the 29th Mekong River Delta Art Photo Contest.

The 7-month contest launched from this February drew over 2,600 entries of 406 artists from 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong River Delta.

The organizing panel awarded 20 outstanding works, including gold prizes for the colour work Suc khoe cho cong dong (Health for community) by Vo Thi Bach Yen from Ben Tre province and the black-and-white work Tren dinh cong trinh (On the top of a work) by Lam Thanh Liem from Bac Lieu province.
