At the opening ceremony, audiences were entertained with typical performances by the K-Tiger from the Republic of Korea (RoK), which combine Taekwondo and RoK’s typical genres of music as Arirang, traditional music and K-pop.

During the festival, Korean culture-lovers could try on Hanbok, practice Hangeul, taste Korean food as kimpap, hot and spicy rice cakes and hankwa as well as learn about hanji- traditional handmade paper from the RoK.

Notably, an interesting show gathering Korean film stars and Vietnamese artists will be on November 26 at the outdoor stage of the palace.

Lee Dae Joong, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, at a press briefing in Hanoi on November 24, hoped that the festival would be part of the cultural exchanges between the two countries to be held by the center in the coming time.
