An artistic performance at the opening ceremony for the program

During the week-long program, there are many interesting activities, such as a street festival, a folk wood carving festival, a culinary festival, an exhibition of local cultural heritage, and an introduction to local tourism products.

The program provides opportunity for Kon Tum and other participating provinces to promote and popularize their economic, cultural and tourism strengths and potentials to domestic and international audiences.

In addition, the program also serves as a venue for the participants to exchange experiences in preserving and promoting cultural values of ethnic minority groups living in Truong Son – Central Highlands mountainous areas and Southwestern region, making contribution to promoting and enriching the Vietnamese culture imbued with national identities.
