The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) worked with the An Tuong Effective Events Corporation to hold a ceremony on June 16th in HCMC to launch the National U15 Football Championship, and then sign a deal with a new sponsor, the Hyundai– Vinashin Shipyard Company.

Namely, the Company will sponsor the Championship for three years, worth US$ 60,000 each year (around VND 3.7 billion), including VND 137 million for all prizes.

This year, the tournament will draw the participation of 24 teams, to be divided into three groups, from provinces and cities nationwide. The teams will compete in round robin for the qualifying round from July 11th to 26th, and the 7 top teams, along with HCMC’s host team, will advance to the final round at the Thong Nhat Stadium from August 7th to 17th.
