    PAN’s 33 issues published on Dien Bien Phu Battlefield: A unique and special phenomenon in history of Vietnamese revolutionary press

    PANO - As someone who has conducted some research on the history of Vietnamese journalism, I would like to write a short article introducing the 33 issues of the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) published on Dien Bien Phu battlefield. I was truly moved when I first had the opportunity to read all 33 of these special issues. As Alain le Maitre said in the program “Dien Bien Phu – Memory and History” broadcast in 2014 on Channel VTV1 of Vietnam Television that “Memory is an experience that is always alive and living. Memory is a human right.”
