Dak Lak promotes Ba Na community’s gong culture, brocade weaving

Xi Thoai hamlet, Xuan Lanh commune of the central province of Dak Lak has shaped a unique cultural identity with the distinctive musical art form known as “Trong doi, cong ba, chieng nam” (Double drums, triple gongs, quintuple chieng). The music is part of the cultural fabric of the Ba Na ethnic minority group, and together with traditional brocade weaving, have been recognized as national intangible cultural heritages since 2016.
