The exhibition aims to retrace the boiling atmosphere in Hanoi capital in late 1946 and early 1947, when the whole city was responding to President Ho Chi Minh's appeal for national resistance war.
Some photos taken by artists Tran Van Nhung, Tran Van Ve, and Nguyen Duy Kien featured a Hanoi with heavy damages by the enemy’s shells. The exhibition also showcases photos describing Hanoi as a modernized and civilized city by photographer Nguyen Huu Bao.
The event will last till February 27.
