PANO - More than 500 artists from seven choirs of cultural centres in Ho Chi Minh City and the Can Tho City Culture-Arts School will participate in a choir festival entitled “Songs presented to the Party” at Ho Chi Minh City Theatre on August 20th.

The event will be co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports and the Public Culture Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

As planned, each choir will have two choral performances in praise of the great stature and historical values of the August Revolution in 1945 and the National Day on September 2nd, the leading role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation and national construction and protection and also in praise of the tradition of patriotism, self-reliant will, aspiration for peace and the solidarity spirit of ethnic minority groups of Vietnam.
