A number of cultural activities will be held in the Hanoi Old Quarter to honour its tangible and intangible cultural values and celebrate the April 30th and May 1st holidays.

The Hanoi Old Quarters Management Board yesterday revealed that on April 28th, the Temple of Kim Ngan at 42-44 Hang Bac Street will host a display of silver and gold jewellery products of Hanoi trade villages and an exhibition on calligraphic works relating to trade villages by the calligrapher Nguyen Quang Thang.

The same day, participants can enjoy tea-tasting in a calligraphic space at the Old Quarters Information Centre, 28 Hang Buom Street, where, also, VOVINAM Hanoi martial arts instructors will perform their talents.

A painting exhibition, (Sen Viet) “Vietnamese Lotus”, will take place at the Heritage House at 87 Ma May Street.

All these above activities will last a week, except the month-long exhibition hosted by Kim Ngan Temple.
