The Hanoi old-quarter will open the 2009 Mid-Autumn Fair during the evening of September 19th at the stage erected in front of Dong Xuan Market.

During this fair, which lasts until October 3rd, there will be a variety of activities, such as  traditional artistic performances, a photo exhibition on traditional mid-autumn festivals, lion dances, and traditional toy making which will be held on Hang Ma Street and along Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc square to Dong Xuan Market.

Moreover, the relic House at 87 Ma May will be the facility that will  provide  food and cultural programmes, as well as several exhibitions that will be meaningful and attractive not only for domestic, but also international tourists. 

During the fair, Hang Dao-Dong Xuan Street will be closed off to traffic in the evenings and will be utilized by pedestrians only.
