The event introduces 62 photographic works from the different perspectives of 12 photographers, including veterans and newcomers, the conflicts between tradition and modernity, and the new construction of the city of Seoul.

In a sensible and rational visual language, they focus on describing the sufferings that modernization has brought to Seoul and the marks of modern history in this international metropolis of more than 10 million people.

Since the establishment of their twinning relations in May 1996, Hanoi and Seoul have witnessed a growing friendship through various fields such as administration, economy, culture, and tourism.

This event gives local viewers an opportunity to learn more about the RoK’s photography, people, and land.

The exhibition lasts from October 1 - 12 at the Temple of Literature, No.58 Quoc Tu Giam street and from October 1 - 30 at the Korean Culture Center, No.49 Nguyen Du street, Hanoi.
