Google honors late Vietnamese musician Trinh Cong Son
PANO – Google, the most popular search engine in the world, has honored Vietnamese famous musician Trinh Cong Son by incorporating his image into Google Doodles for the day on the occasion of his 80thbirthday. Trinh Cong Son was the first Vietnamese to get such an honor.
Google’s honoring of the Vietnamese musical talent, famous for songs praising peace, delivered a positive message of peace to the world as it took place at a time when the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump were in Hanoi for the second summit.
Together with his image, Google also briefed musician Trinh Cong Son’s musical career and the influence of his music over the culture of Vietnam in particular and other countries in the world in general. It considers that Trinh Cong Son’s songs are an important and integral part of Vietnam’s music and culture.
Google Doodles is a special temporary logo to commemorate holidays, special events, achievements, and people with great contributions to their country and the world.
