The first Evason Ana Mandara-Nha Trang Sailing Cup ended in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on June 16, with nine prizes awarded to the best players in the amateur, open and professional categories.
The event attracted 40 athletes of 17 teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Thuan and the host, Khanh Hoa.
Evason Ana Mandara Cup is one of the four sailing races held in Vietnam. In March, a similar competition took place in southern coastal city of Vung Tau. The next two events will be organised in Ho Chi Minh City in September and Mui Ne in Phan Thiet province in December.
