Michael Parks Masterson, a sought-after opera artist of the Broadway musical theatre in the US, will give a performance with Vietnamese professional and amateur artists in Ho Chi Minh City on April 18.

The event will offer a chance for Vietnamese artists who love opera music to learn and improve their dancing, singing and acting skills.

Meanwhile, audiences will have an opportunity to enjoy extracts of such famous opera hits as “Chicago”, and “River in the rain” and a series of soundtracks in “Lion King” film.

As a famous artist, director and choreographer, Michael Parks Masterson has been invited to perform in over 30 countries around the world. He has also acted as a bass soloist on many Broadway and off-Broadway stages.

The well-known artist has recently focused on directing musical pieces and giving lectures on acting techniques for singers and dancers worldwide.

He has served as a cultural ambassador for the US Department of State for seven years.
