The exhibition will feature 59 calligraphy works by authors and researchers of calligraphy and the Nom, which is a logographic writing system formerly used to write the Vietnamese language. The works are inspired by poems about the New Year and Spring of late President Ho Chi Minh and famous figures, such as Tran Nhan Tong, Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Huy Luong, Nguyen Du.
This event aims to uphold the Han-Nom (Chinese-originated ancient Vietnamese scripts) script to preserve national cultural heritage.
Besides, a calligraphy performance will be held at the opening ceremony.
